I am really into fashion, I would make clothes just for fun and give them as gifts. Then, one day a friend suggested that I try to make a real business out of it and sell them. I was ready to go start my new business venture, but the first thing I had to do was get a good sewing machine. I have always used Brother brand products, so I started out by reading some of the Brother sewing machine reviews online. I then researched some other brands, comparing all the different features and prices.
Of course, cost is one major thing all businesses worry about. I had very little money to spend on supplies. It was just a matter of finding good quality equipment that fit my very limited budget. I had my basement set up and ready to go. I am so excited about this business venture but, start-up equipment and supplies can be so expensive. I only had about $200, allotted, to buy a good quality sewing machine.
I found some great sewing machines online under $200. I did some digging and found out which ones were the best quality for the price, based on actual customer reviews and Good Housekeeping magazine. The top two are listed below.
